The temple samithi was founded in 1979 under the name of “Sree Vidya Ganapathi Seva Samithi”. It was registered in 1980 as “Ganapathi Seva Samithi” and under the presidentship of Sri K.R.S. Naidu, established the Ganesha Temple and started several activities.

"Sri S. Veerabhadrappa was elected as President in 1986 and continued till 2011, for a period of 25 years. The committee took up and completed several developmental projects and social welfare schemes as listed in the next page. It is during this period the temple growth reached new peak. In 2011, Sri K. K. Prakash was elected as President with new committee. The Present committee with the blessing of Lord has successfully completed and continuing several developmental projects of the Temple."
